The largest retrospective exhibition of the artist during the last 30 years
Exhibition activity of Boris Zaozersky began in 1965 with the participation in the All-Union Exhibition of diplomas and lasted until 1999. The artist passed away in 2002, leaving a great legacy of paintings and drawings, many of which are in the collections of the State Russian Museum , the Scientific research museum of the Russian Academy of Arts, the State museum of history of St. Petersburg, the Russian museum of Alexander Pushkin, State museum of Leningrad defense, the State museum-reserve "Gatchina", in private collections in Russia and abroad. Another part of the heritage of Boris Zaozersky belongs to the artist's daughter Irina, and it is almost entirely represented in the personal exhibition, organized in conjunction with the heir to the museum and exhibition center "Petersburg artist".
The exposition includes more than 130 paintings and drawings, forming a retrospective of the artist's career.
