«Child's days in Saint Petersburg» is a huge partner project that unites more than forty city museums annually (this year – fifty museums, three libraries, two showrooms, Mariinsky theatre, State Academic Capella, a hostel, a historical shipyard, a loft, a contact micro zoo and an excursion club).
During the festival (from the 29th of October to the 8th of November and the 12-13, 19-20 of November) the visitors of twenty museums that participate in this game are offered game guides specially made for this program. Thus, it will be easier and more interesting to discover the expositions doing the tasks of festival mascot - the Lev Ponaroshku (Lion For Fun).
The participation in this game does not need any booking in advance. Just choose the route according to your age and your choice and go to any museum in its opening hours. There the child will have a guide with tasks and general game map. You can visit museums in any order.
The participation in the game turns visiting museums into a joint adventure, it unites children and adults, develops child's curiosity, capacity of thinking and making decision by him/herself, his observation skills and creativity. The program is deemed for a family visit, and elder children can go to the museum with their friends.
