In the Small hall of the St. Petersburg Museum of Dolls was opened the exhibition of toys and dolls that belonged to the young inhabitant of the besieged city
The exhibition is timed to the anniversary of lifting the siege of Leningrad. The exhibition presents toys , which remind of the military child, the lives of their owners and tell new stories of salvation, hope and eternal memory.
Many of the exhibits were given to the museum recently. Here you can see the legendary trophy doll artist of the Leningrad circus Larry Valentine. The porcelain doll, made in the UK in 1942, was donated to Valentina by the soldier who reached to Berlin.
