The opening of the festival "BOOK LIGHTHOUSE OF PETERSBURG" in the ON-SOUND format is scheduled for February 12, 2021 at 12.00 in the Russian National Library, where, in addition to the festival program, a range of events dedicated to the bicentennial of Fyodor Dostoevsky will be presented.
The content of the festival is realized in a hybrid (physical-digital) form that enables the active participation of writers, poets, musicians from different parts of the world, including the organization of a large number of physical and virtual platforms from different organizations, a wide coverage of readers from Petersburg, Russia and the world in the period of limitations related to the pandemic.
The BOOK LIGHTHOUSE OF PETERSBURG is a socially significant non-profit initiative, its content can be freely broadcast on any literary, educational and news portals, communities in social networks, as well as in libraries, museums, houses and cultural centers, music clubs, art venues, schools, universities and other educational institutions.
The topics of the events are determined by the flow directions: educational, entertainment, historical, business, specialized (healthy lifestyle, medicine, psychology, marine subjects, etc.), music, children's, adolescent, youth and parent.
Each day of the festival has its own accents.
February 12 - "KNOW YOURSELF". Prose, poetry, and music about yourself and your life, philosophical searches and life values, deep experiences and soul research.
February 13 – "HOW BEAUTIFUL THIS WORLD IS". Texts, music and meanings about the pristine and unique beauty of the surrounding world.
February 14 – “ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE”.... Works about love on the Valentine's Day. The highest crystallization of feelings in texts, sounds and meanings in any language.
More than 100 events are planned, which will be attended by more than 100,000 people. Live broadcasts of all meetings will be available on the festival's YouTube channel and online partner channels daily from 12 to 24 hours. An interactive form of participation is possible - everyone can ask questions to the speakers.
