In the framework of the Earth Hour, an annual ecological event, people all around the world will turn off the electrical light as a sign of indifference to the future of our planet. The lighting of famous buildings and monuments will also be extinguished.
On Saturday, March 24, the eleventh Hour of the Earth will take place. It is a movement that draws attention to the careful and responsible attitude to the nature and resources of the planet. Turning off the light is symbolic and not aimed at saving electricity.
Today Earth Hour is the most massive environmental action on the planet. It is attended by more than 2 billion people around the world from more than 184 countries and almost 7,000 cities.
On this occasion in the city’s Park named after I. Babushkin will be organized a special entertainment programme. Visitors will be invited to take part in flash mobs of Bengal lights and to look at the fire-pyrotechnic show. Creation of 10-meters symbol of the Earth Hour, a figure of 60 minutes, will become the final of the action.
