More than 2 million people visited the Christmas fair on Manezhnaya Square

Most of them visited the fair during the New Year holidays.
More than 2 million people visited the main city Christmas fair, located on Manezhnaya Square, Malaya Sadovaya and Klenovaya Streets. This was reported by St. Petersburg TV channel with reference to the press service of the City Centre for Quality Control. More than half of the total number of visitors, 1.3 million, accounted for New Year's holidays.
It is also reported that since December 12, when the fair opened, visitors ate 10 tons of sausages, hot dogs and hamburgers, 85 tons of potatoes and other side dishes, drank 28 thousand litres of non-alcoholic mulled wine and 100 thousand litres of tea and coffee.
5 thousand Christmas tree decorations, 11 thousand handmade souvenirs, 12 tons of meat and fish delicacies, 15 tons of sweets and 3 tons of cheese were purchased in the Christmas fair.
Also, during the Christmas fair, 8 thousand poems were told to Ded Moroz. In total, the magician received 17 thousand requests for the fulfilment of desires from both children and adults.
You can still visit the fair before January 13th. On Sunday, January 12, a farewell concert will be given.
