An unusual exhibit dedicated to Fyodor Dostoevsky, who often visited the Passage and immortalized in his story “The Crocodile”.
The art project "Passage in the Passage, or an unusual installation" that dedicated to the Memorial Day of Fyodor Dostoevsky opened on February 7.
An almost 20-meter alligator with a giant open mouth greets visitors in the Passage Shopping Center as a large interactive toy. An old telephone installed inside of him. And by using it people can contact the outside world (just as it was with the unlucky hero of the story, who turned out to be a swallowed by a crocodile). The crocodile itself has been turned into a sounding object that responds to visitors approaching it.
