Lenina Square was decorated with flowers

Lenina Square at the Finland Station was decorated with 16 thousand flowers today.

Near the monument to V.I. Lenin the gardeners planted a begonia grace of three varieties, cineraria and kohiya. A little earlier, 15 thousand flowers appeared at the walls of the administration of the Kalininsky district on Arsenalnaya embankment.

In the greenhouse of the JSC “Kalininskoe gardening” there are almost a million flowering plants. Now they are all planted on public green spaces. More than 600 thousand will remain in the Kalininsky district, 114 thousand will be planted in the Primorsky district, and 240 thousand will appear in the Nevsky district.

To the moment, flowers have already been planted at the metro stations Grazhdansky Prospect, Akademicheskaya and Prospect Prosveshcheniya. Flower beds are fully decorated on Tikhoretsky Avenue, Nepokorenny Avenue, Kultury Avenue. Next week there will be a completely new thematic flower garden for the anniversary of Victory on Sverdlovskaya Embankment.
