The streets of St. Petersburg will be decorated for the Victory Day Parade

The concept of festive decoration was developed for the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

In St. Petersburg, preparations are underway for the Victory Parade. According to the «Saint –Petersburg» TV channel, citing the city committee for press and media relations, this year for the first time they Millionnaya, Potemkinskaya and Bolshaya Morskaya streets will   be decorated, a section of Ligovsky prospect from Vosstaniya

square to Zhukovskogo Street, as well as Zanevskaya Square.

According to the committee, the department has developed a concept for the design of the city on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the Parade on June 24.

On the streets of the city on the Neva will appear the banner of Victory, the flags of Russia. The pylons of the lanterns and the walls of the buildings will adorn stylized compositions. Also, bridges, main highways, central embankments, and squares will be decorated.

Festive decoration will receive the area of ​​ the Alexander Nevskоgo and Vosstaniya squares, the Proletarian Dictatorship square, BKZ "October", Voskresenskaya and Smolnaya embankments, Suvorovsky prospekt and other addresses.
