The Governor of St Petersburg Alexander Beglov has made amendments to the St. Petersburg Governmental Decree No. 121 dated 03.13.2020 “On measures to counteract the spread of a new coronavirus infection in St. Petersburg (COVID-19)”.
According to the governor’s decree, seasonal summer cafes reopen in the Northern capital on June 29, as well as the public catering “using carried-out outdoor furniture”.
However, the resumption of their work is possible only if a unique QR code is received, confirming the readiness to comply with the standard of safe operation. At the same time, the catering facility should be located outside the territories of parks, squares and gardens, and tables should be placed at a distance of 1.5 meters from each other. And, of course, employees of summer cafes should definitely use personal protective equipment for the respiratory system and hands.
