Since July 14, the Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography (the Kunstkamera) of the Russian Academy of Sciences opens its doors to visitors, according to the Committee for culture of St. Petersburg.
According to the Committee, in order to prevent the spread of a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the museum has introduced the necessary prevention and security measures. A system of "session" visits to the museum has been developed: a limited number of visitors can enter the museum every hour, up to 150 people are also asked to stay in the museum for no more than one hour.
It is also reported that the entrance to the museum will be possible only if you have a mask. It is recommended to keep a distance of 1.5 meters, both in the entrance area and further in the halls of the museum.
The halls also developed and marked the route of viewing the exhibition, excluding oncoming traffic. Guided tours are only available for groups of no more than five people.
