The Hermitage has appointed July,23as a day of free admission for children, large families and students. The cultural institution announced this news on its official Facebook page.
“Under the present circumstances, the Hermitage has been obliged to temporarily restrict the number of categories of visitors accorded the right to visit the museum at a reduced rate or free of charge. First of all, the museum restores those benefit-entitled categories that have the right to free admission under current legislation of the Russian Federation”, the Hermitage says in a statement.
It is reported that the museum will gradually return to its former social policyas the epidemiological situation improves.
