The World Travel Awards is considered to be one of the most recognizable and most prestigious travel awards in the world. St. Petersburg will be able to celebrate its achievements and win back the tourist Oscar if a sufficient number of experts in the field of tourism, representatives of travel companies, travellers and even citizens vote for it.
Voting will continue until 17 August with anyone registered on the World Travel Awards site eligible to cast their vote. The winners of the prestigious award will be announced on 28 September in a gala ceremony held in Antalya, Turkey. Meanwhile, for the first time, the Grand final is planned to be held in Moscow as one of the largest events of the tourism sector.
