From October 30 to November 1, St. Petersburg will host a Citywide Halloween. The most extensive city celebration of the Halloween will be traditionally held in the Babushkin Park.
On October 30 and 31, as well as on November 1, all St. Petersburg residents are invited to meet the full moon and plunge into the scary and beautiful atmosphere of the festival.
The main event in the Program of the citywide Halloween will be a fire show and a pyrotechnic show on stage. Five theatres of fire will take part in the festival at once: themed performances will be filled with complex tricks and fascinating lighting effects.
The festival will not be complete without a colourful costume carnival: the organizers urge you to let your imagination run wild and dress up for the festival as if the character of your favourite movie, comics or book. The most original outfits on each day will be awarded from the stage.
Jack's lanterns will be another interesting event of the exhibition — the carved pumpkins, which are considered the main symbol of Halloween. Guests can take part in a master class on the art of carving vegetables. Participants will learn how to cut different shapes out of a pumpkin, and after the festival, it can be taken away as a souvenir.
