From 21 to 22 November 2020, the III St. Petersburg Festival of Spatial and Temporal Arts "Rotunda" will be held. The festival is held by the Center for Art and Music of the Vladimir Mayakovsky Library with support from the St. Petersburg Committee for Culture and the Kannon Dance House.
The premiere of the project «Requiem» directed and performed by Olga Tsvetkova will open the festival. The audience will also see the performance "Children from the cage" by the Dutch choreographer Marina Mascarell.
The program "Organic dances" will be shown on the second day of the festival. Famous St. Petersburg choreographers, including A. Kukin, A. Panchenko, E. Churilova, K. Keichel, V. Kasparova, M. Tsareva, A. Gruntovskaya, K. Mikheeva, and others, have come together to implement it.
Within the festival, there will be two lectures on contemporary dance “Modern in Russia. Interrupted Flight" and "Bach's Music and Contemporary Choreography”. They are prepared by a well-known cultural historian, anthropologist, specialist in the history of dance and motor culture Irina Sirotkina.
