The program for the provision of state subsidies to representatives of the tourism industry is regulated by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation N 534 of April 30, 2019 According to the document, subsidies are provided to legal entities operating in the field of inbound tourism, information about which is contained in the Unified Federal Register of Tour Operators which have applied
for a subsidy and which attracted foreign tourists from Germany, Israel, France, Italy and other foreign countries to the Russian Federation.
The goal of the program is to increase in export of services in the category "Travel" of the federal project "Export of Services" of the national project "International Cooperation and Export" by increasing the number of foreign tourists from the target countries who visited the Russian Federation.
The amount of the subsidy depends on the number of foreign tourists from the target countries who visited the Russian Federation during the reporting period. The company can get from 1200 up to 9600 rubles per tourist. The final amount depends on the coefficients specified in the rules of the Government Decree N 534.
Meanwhile, the maximum amount of subsidy for growth of foreign tourists from one target country per one tour operator should not exceed 5 million rubles. In total, the list of the Decree includes ten target countries; as a result, a legal entity has the opportunity to receive 50 million rubles from the state for all attracted tourists.
Let us remind that this year the representatives of the tourism industry could submit their applications for these subsidies from 4 to 25 September 2020.
