Exhibition dedicated to Alexander Marinesko will open in Kronstadt

Visitorsof the exhibition will be able to learn a lot of interesting things about the submarines on which the Hero of the Soviet Union served.
An exhibition, dedicated to the memory of the Hero of the Soviet Union Alexander Marinesko, will be held in Kronstadt, the press service of the Kronstadt district administration reports.
The exposition will tell about the life and fate of the famous submariner Alexander Marinesko. In particular, visitors will see the project of the S-13 submarine, of which Marinesko served as its commander. They also learn about the "attack of the century" when the German ship "Wilhelm Gustloff" was sunk during the Great Patriotic War.
The exhibition will be held from November 20 to December 4 at the Naval Cathedral of Kronstadt, at the address: Yakornaya Square, 5A. You can visit it during the working hours of the Museum from 10.00 to 18.00.
The event was organized by the Museum of the History of the Russian Submarine Forces of Marinesko in cooperation with the Central Naval Museumof Emperor Peter the Great.
