25 November 2020

Cultural and public spaces will be opened in the building.

Palace of Culture named after Kirovin Vasileostrovsky district was one of the largest cultural centres of Leningrad. But then the building lost its popularity among the citizens and became outdated. Recently, large-scale renovation works have begun here, and soon the cultural centre will find a second life.

It is reported that restaurants, offices, retail premises, exhibition spaces and even a venue for festivals will be opened on the territory of the renovated complex. A team of people who have already modernized Nikolskie Ryady and Torzhkovsky Market are working on the creation of a new space.
