The projects of "GTIB" have reached the final of All-Russian Tourist Award "Route of the Year" in 2020

The bus route "A Star named the Sun", which is participating in the nomination "Best idea of the route, is dedicated to the life of the brightest star of Russian rock – the leader of the group "Cinema" Viktor Tsoi.

How and where did the formation of the personality of a cult musician? Who were his friends and associates and what memory of him is carefully preserved in St. Petersburg? All this tourists will learn during the tour along the route.

The booklet "Visit Petersburg invites" will compete for the prize in the category "Best tourist guide». The publication is a basic guide for the traveler, which succinctly and interestingly tells about the best sights, event events, city signs for good luck, good places for photography and much more. Recall that in 2019, within the framework of the VI All-Russian Tourist Award "Route of the Year" 2019, prizes were taken by two projects of St. Petersburg State Budgetary Institution "City Tourist Information Bureau".

Route «Fire of the Baltic Squadron. January of the 44th» took the 2nd place in the nomination "The best military-historical route". The children's guide "Walking around St. Petersburg with a cat Waffle" took the 3rd place in the category "Best Tourist Guide".

Also, a special diploma "For preserving historical memory" was awarded to the joint project of St. Petersburg State Budgetary Institution "City Tourist Information Bureau", traveler Ildar Mamatov and the Petrovskaya Aquatoria Museum-model - the Bering in St. Petersburg route in the nomination "Best route in the city".

The All-Russian Tourist Award “Route of the Year” was established as an industry award, awarded following the results of an open All-Russian competition of projects for achievements in the creation and development of tourist routes. The award has been held since 2014 with the informational support of the Federal Agency for Tourism of the Russian Federation.

In 2020, 442 projects from 62 regions of Russia were submitted for the All-Russian Tourist Award "Route of the Year". 9 projects were selected for the final of the award from St. Petersburg.
