Gatchina and Vyborg - in the top 10 most quiet and cozy towns for the weekend

On weekends, many of us want to “slow down”, to experience quiet and cozy charm of a smaller town, to visit a place that harmoniously combines the old ways and civilization. There are more authentic eateries to enjoy, and fewer people to prevent you from mindful contemplation of the sights. The smaller ancient towns of Russia are ideally suited for a weekend at a slow pace.

Russian accommodation booking service Tvil.ru has conducted a survey on social networks and shares its results, disclosing to its followers, which towns have the coziest and most inviting atmosphere. The following three towns have been named the most cozy and peaceful: in the first place Suzdal - 25% of the vote, Yeisk - 13% of the vote, Plyos - 12% of the vote.

7) Taganrog - 7%
