St. Petersburg and Leningrad region will be decorated with three million tulips in summer

More than 3 million flowers from the Netherlands will be planted in the city and region in spring. In December and January, greenhouse complexes and seedlings were inspected.

It was reported by press service of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of St. Petersburg, the Leningrad and Pskov regions, that St. Petersburg will be decorated with bright flowers.

Recently, state inspectors completed quarantine phytosanitary control for tulip bulbs that have arrived from Europe. Experts took samples from the flower bulbs and conducted laboratory tests. The flower bulbs are safe as examination determined.

Plants with bright multi-colored buds will decorate the streets of St. Petersburg and the neighboring region in spring.
