Two branches of Museum of Siege and Defense of Leningrad are being planned to open in Saint Petersburg

New branches are to become available to visitors in 2022.

Museum of Siege and Defense of Leningrad plans to open two more branches next year. The new expositions will appear in the “Bunker Tributsa”, as well as in the Moskovsky Park Pobedy on the site of the former Globus cinema, the press service of the Petrogradsky District Administration reports.

"Bunker Tributsa" is a protective structure, a reserve command post, which appeared in the spring of 1942 on the Petrograd side for the commander of the Baltic Fleet Vladimir Tributs. The building is unique both from a historical point of view and in terms of construction. After renovation, it is planned to open an exposition dedicated to the history of the object itself and the history of the Baltic Fleet. And in the Moscow Victory Park there will be an exposition dedicated to Leningrad 1942, it will complete the memorial complex, which has developed in the southern part of the park.
