According to the terms of the competition, everyone could publish a photo and discover unexplored corners of our country through their shots or take a fresh look at already familiar landscapes. Photos for the competition could be submitted in three categories: city, landscape and traditions. The best works will soon be published in a special photo collection from Facebook, and the winners will receive an annual online subscription to National Geographic Russia magazine.
According to the head of RostourismZarinaDoguzova, travel is always creativity: from inspiration and choice of the route of the trip to impressions and photos that we share with family and friends.
“The main feature of travel photography is a completely different, author's style of photos. In photography, you freeze the moment - it has the most beautiful views and new impressions. With a camera, you become a more attentive tourist, you find new, unusual angles, you notice the smallest details. In short, travel photography is an art in which every traveler opens up his own possibilities, ”says Zarina Doguzova.
As a result, the first place in the competition "Russia You Have Not Seen " was won by St. Petersburg photo-artist Dmitry Vorontsov (https://vk.com/kaberdy, https://www.instagram.com/dimavorontsov_photo/). His photo of the ice-bound Neva with a view of St. Isaac's Cathedral impressed the jury.
