St. Petersburg is in the top ten popular places to travel during Maslenitsa in 2021

Where will the Russians go to the Maslenitsa festivities determine the housing booking service Tvil.ru. The rating is timed to coincide with Maslenitsa week 2021, which will be held this year from March 8 to 14.
Yalta in the Crimea, Sochi in the Krasnodar Territory, the mountain resorts of Sheregesh in the Kemerovo Region and Dombay in Karachay-Cherkessia, as well as the cities of St. Petersburg, Pyatigorsk, Lakhdenpokhya, Novosibirsk, Kazan and Suzdal made up the top ten popular cities for traveling during Maslenitsa week.
According to the statistics of the service, tourists book a vacation in early March from 2 to 7 nights and spend from 1.2 to 13.3 thousand rubles per day. It is cheaper to have a holiday on Maslenitsa in Pyatigorsk, more expensive - in Suzdal. Most tourists book hotels – 56%, less apartments - 32.76% and houses - 9.91%. On Maslenitsa week, 46.55% of couples, 20.69% of companies, and 14.22% of people who travel alone go on trips. Another 11.21% of families will go to the Maslenitsa festivities in early March.
