The brightest performers of the academic repertoire will perform at the gala evening dedicated to International Women's Day. Among them are: Ildar Abdrazakov, Aida Garifullina, Alexey Tatarintsev, Vasily Ladyuk.
Soloists will perform arias and duets from Russian and European opera classics, accompanied by the Mikhailovsky Theater orchestra and chorus. The program includes fragments of works by Giuseppe Verdi, Gaetano Donizetti, Georges Bizet, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Mikhail Ivanovich Glinka, Nikolai Andreevich Rimsky-Korsakov.
Mikhail Tatarnikov will be the conductor. The musician successfully collaborates with major European venues, and in 2020 he became the only Russian conductor to receive an invitation to perform at the 100th anniversary of the Salzburg Festival.
