Shrovetide performance "Burn it all with a blue flame" will be held in St. Petersburg

11 March 2021

The action was invented at the city's Street Art Museum

Timed to coincide with the end of Pancake Week, the performance will take place at the Street Art Museum on March 14. The museum is going to burn a cardboard installation by Anton Polsky in honor of Forgiven Sunday.

So, instead of the Shrovetide effigy, a huge inscription "Everything" will burn. Thus, it will be understood: "burns it all with a blue flame."

“The Street Art Museum proposes to update this phrase and invest in it a share of healthy acceptance of the situation - to understand, forgive and let go just on forgiveness Sunday. Everyone can add their own meaning to the word "everything": from global difficulties to everyday problems. It is this individual “everything” that can be burned to the ground according to the idea and start from scratch”, - comments the press service of the museum.
