Petersburg is the second city in Russia, where everyone goes for the May holidays

According to the OneTwoTrip service, Moscow has become the most popular destination in Russia for the May holidays.

An online travel planning service OneTwoTrip has identified based on its customers' bookings that most people will be traveling domestically in early May. Russian News Agency TASS tells about the research of the company.

The share of purchased air tickets for the May holidays in Russia amounted to 91.5%. In 2019, 64% of the service's customers traveled around the country.

The most popular destination is Moscow. 23.6% of all airline tickets were booked thereto. St. Petersburg is second with 12.9%. Its figure is twice as high as in 2019. Sochi is the third with 6.57%, which is 30% higher than last year.

The rating also includes Simferopol, Kaliningrad, Kazan, Mineralnye Vody, Makhachkala, Krasnodar and Ufa.
