Intourmarket-2021: St. Petersburg develops interregional cooperation

St. Petersburg Committee for Tourism Development signed a number of cooperation agreements on the first day of the Intourmarket International Travel Fair.

A four-way interregional cooperation agreement on the implementation of the cultural and educational tourism project “Following Alexander Nevsky” was signed between the St. Petersburg Committee for Tourism Development, the Leningrad Region Committee for Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of Investment Policy of the Novgorod Region, and the Tourism Committee of the Pskov Region.

The agreement is aimed at comprehensive and effective cooperation between the regions in order to implement and promote the project, which includes thematic routes involving visits to places associated with life and work of Prince Alexander Nevsky.

Moreover, the Committee for Tourism Development signed cooperation agreements with Volgograd and the Republic of Dagestan. Both documents are aimed at establishing and expanding business contacts in the field of tourism, providing consulting and information support, cooperation in the implementation of measures aimed at promoting tourism potential of the regions.
