Saint Petersburg will host the International Transport Festival for the second time

The program of the SpbTransportFest includes an exhibition of transport innovations and a grand parade of rare cars.
The 2nd International Transport Festival SPbTransportFest will be held in Saint Petersburg on May 20-22. The program of the festival, which will be organized on the banks of the Neva River by Saint Petersburg State Unitary Enterprise “Passazhiravtotrans” and the Transport Committee, will definitely impress people interested in the past, present and future of transport.
On May 20, the 23th contest of bus drivers will make the festival more cheerful, best drivers from Saint Petersburg and other Russia’s cities and towns will compete for the victory. On May 21, an exhibition of innovative transport will open in the city center, on Klenovaya Street, where leading Russian and European producers will present their new products, including electric buses and alternative fuel trucks. At round tables, experts will discuss important issues of the development of the transport industry. Citizens and guests of the Northern capital will also enjoy an open air entertainment and concert program.
On May 22, the 6th Saint Petersburg International Retro Transport Parade, the largest car parade in Russia, will become the culmination of the festival and a real gift for the city's birthday. Dozens of rare buses, trolleybuses, trucks and cars will traditionally proceed along Nevsky Prospekt and then open their doors to everyone on Inzhenernaya Street. “Pasazhiravtotrans” invites owners of vehicles with an interesting history to take part in this unforgettable event. We would like to remind you that the festival did not take place in 2020 due to restrictive measures. A year earlier, the events of the first festival were attended by over 40000 people. SpbTransportFest is included in the official program of the celebration of the Founding Day of Saint Petersburg.
