St. Petersburg Museum of Cosmonautics - in the top places for "space" travel
12 April 2021
Today marks exactly 60 years since the first manned flight into space. On the eve of this date, many Russians actively went on trips to the places of cosmic glory of our Fatherland.
It is gratifying that among these places was the Museum of Cosmonautics and Rocket Technology of the city on the Neva. He took the second line of the "space" rating, and was second only to the monument to Yuri Gagarin in Sochi, which is understandable, because in the spring many Russians seek to relax in the south.
By the way, space lovers in St. Petersburg have something to see. The city is replete with places related to the exploration of the universe. Those wishing to know the "space" Petersburg can go on an excursion trip "Vivat, heroes of space!" You can find out about it on our portal: http://www.visit-petersburg.ru/ru/route/72/
Let us remind you that on April 12, 1961, the Vostok spacecraft lifted up the first cosmonaut. Senior Lieutenant Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin was the first in the world to make an orbital flight around our planet.
