Sakura Festival will be held this weekend at the Botanical Garden

Visitors will be able to get acquainted with the art of calligraphy, watch the performance of the «Mimigrants» Theater actors and learn to play the Japanese drums.

On May 15 and 16, the Botanical Garden is scheduled to hold the traditional Sakura Matsuri festival, which is dedicated to one of the main symbols of Japan. A rich program of events has been developed for visitors this year. So, everyone can get acquainted with various types of traditional Japanese art: calligraphy, tea art, ikebana, archery (kyudo), taiko drums. In addition, martial arts club performances and an exhibition uta-karuta game will be held for spectators.

As a part of the festival, on May 15 and 16, the actors of the «Mimigrants» Theater will present an exclusive program "Spring Cherry Magic" with entertainment, games and riddles for adults and children. Also, an exciting children's quest "The Cherry Dragon" will be conducted for the young guests of the greenhouse.

Ticket prices: adult - RUB 700, student, pensioner - RUB 500, child from 4 years old to graduation - RUB 350.
