The stands are decorated with the city's identity brand and the official symbols of UEFA EURO 2020, seven matches of which will be held in St. Petersburg in June. Presentation of the project “Silver Necklace of Russia”, consisted of a set of routes that combine historical cities and territories, regional centers, large population points of the Northwestern Federal District, which has the unique monuments of history, culture and nature included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, is expected. An active program is planned within the framework of the exhibitions and will include official and business meetings, as well as the signing of agreements. On May 20, 2021, within the framework of the FITUR exhibition, a meeting of the Committee for Tourism Development of St. Petersburg leadership with the UNWTO World Tourism Organization leadership headed General Secretary Zurab Pololikashvili is planned.
As part of the cooperation between Moscow and St. Petersburg a joint campaign under a single brand “Two cities - a million impressions” to promote tourism products in foreign markets is being formed with a joint press conference on this topic in zero day in Madrid. The main goal of the two capitals is to attract foreign guests through the events that take place in the life of the cities, to first visits and to return visits.
