The musical and literary performance, consisting of two parts, harmoniously combines Pushkin's word, symphonic music and video sequences. The heroes of the famous works "The Bronze Horseman" and "The Station Keeper", which date back to the 30s of the 19th century, to the final stage of Alexander Pushkin's work, come to life in front of the audience. By this time, his poetic skill had reached exceptional heights and exceptional simplicity. Humanistic motives took a greater place in the poet's works. In parallel with this, the theme of St. Petersburg, which is being discovered in a new way for Russian literature, is developing.
The reviving drafts and drawings in the margins, the disturbing and lyrical sound of the orchestra, combined with amazing texts, will immerse the viewer into the world of the great poet's works.
The concert will feature music by M.I. Glinka, P.I. Tchaikovsky, R.M.Glier, I.I.Shwartz.
