In Primorsky Victory Park, the fans had fun with quizzes and football freestyle

On June 12, the national teams of Russia and Belgium played in St. Petersburg. Before the match, the staff of the City Tourist Information Bureau held interactive events for the fans dedicated to the 2020 UEFA European Football Championship. The event in the Primorsky Victory Park attracted attention of tourists and gathered more than 2 thousand people.

All visitors were able to learn simple football tricks, score a penalty kick and show their skills in the ball-hitting competition. A professional freestyle football player demonstrated his skill with a soccer ball in front of the audience.

Besides, the organizers encouraged fans to demonstrate their wit and take part in quizzes about the history of UEFA-2020 and the sights of the Northern Capital, including the objects of the New Tourist Geography of St. Petersburg.

The most active participants of the event received prizes and souvenirs with EURO 2020 symbolic. According to the organizers, the interactive event made it possible not only to talk about new urban points of attraction, but also to understand which places are the most recognizable and interesting for tourists.


Everyone who did not manage to become a part of the football celebration on June 12 will be able to visit the interactive zone of St. Petersburg on June 16 and 21, as well as on July 2, 2021. The site is located in Primorsky Victory Park on the way to the Gazprom Arena stadium next to the mobile tourist information office, where guests will find entertainment, free city guides and souvenirs.
