Nevsky Centre Shopping Mall has presented digital shop windows

The Nevsky Centre Shopping Mall has carried out a seasonal renewal of the windows. The concept of autumn design plays up with a rapid digitalization of the world. It intertwines the motives of the past (antique figures, ancient plants) and the future (skyscrapers, microelectronic patterns).
“The concept of the shop windows represents a magic forest full of coloured giant fern leaves and moss,” - said Marina Smetanina, the head of the marketing department of the Nevsky Centre Shopping Mall. - Our forest is inhabited by butterflies, bumblebees, dragonflies and leopards, which at first glance look like beautiful jewellery forms, but if you look closely, you can distinguish patterns of microcircuits on them. The cyber landscapes presented in the new showcases are created by artificial intelligence. I am sure they will be duly appreciated by residents of Saint Petersburg and guests of the city.” Significant tenants of the complex: FC Zenit, Azbuka Vkusa, Stockmann department store and others took part in the new showcase project.
Moreover, the Nevsky Centre Shopping complex has integrated a guide to interesting places of Saint Petersburg into the windows. It was created jointly with the Committee for Tourism Development. Each showcase has a QR code that will forward everyone interested to a page with the list of places for autumn walks (Where to go in the fall? (visit-petersburg.ru).
“The integration of the tourist brand of Saint Petersburg into the urban environment is an important area of work for us, as well as the support of shopping tourism, which increases the profitability of the hospitality industry in Saint Petersburg as a whole. To this end, we are developing cooperation with the best trading venues in our city. This time, the windows of the Nevsky Centre present options for places in Saint Petersburg, where any guest or resident of our city will be curious to go. Thus, it becomes possible to create your unique route by combining several leisure activities at once,” commented Sergey Korneev, the Chairman of the Saint Petersburg Committee for Tourism Development.
Let us recall that on 1 August 2019, the Nevsky Centre launched the first conceptual showcase project in its history. Since then, the shopping complex has been constantly updating the concept depending on the season and newsworthy events, which allows it to become more noticeable and attract the attention of passers-by.

The Nevsky Centre Shopping Mall is located in the centre of Saint Petersburg, at the intersection of Nevsky Prospect and Vosstaniya Street, within walking distance from Ploshchad Vosstaniya and Mayakovskaya metro stations, opposite the Moskovsky railway station. The Nevsky Centre includes more than 100 retail outlets of the largest Russian and foreign brands, a large food court, restaurants and cafes, a business centre, as well as three-level underground parking for 550 cars.
The shopping complex was built on the principle of a classical theatre using modern architectural solutions, so it is impossible to get lost inside and easy to navigate inside thanks to the understandable system of galleries, elevators and escalators.
Nevsky Centre was opened on 10 November 2010. Its total leasable area is 44.2 thousand square metres.
