Football fans who attend to visit games of EURO 2020 in St. Petersburg, as well as volunteers, would be able to use public transport for free, 78.ru reports. The general rules will be the same they were on Confederations Cup 2017 and FIFA World Cup 2018. A fan must have a special transport card, an accreditation card, and a match ticket with him.
On the match day for which ticket was purchased and a day after it is possible to use so-called football competition routes. For example, it is a bus № 39 that connects Pulkovo Airport with Moskovskaya metro station. Shuttles to the stadium on Krestovsky Island, known as Gazprom Arena or the Saint Petersburg Stadium, will be available too. Also, the list will include all metro lanes, all routes of suburb trains and trams №19 and №48 that go to the Yakhtennaya street.
Volunteers and people with UEFA accreditations will get additional no payment public transport routes. All surface public transport, all metro lanes, all suburb trains, and all shuttles as well will be free for them from May 10 to July 13. To use it, volunteers will need to have an accredited person's ticket and an accreditation card.
