Tsarskoe Selo invites visitors for a winter walk. There are several main reasons to come here in the cold season:
Admire the snow-white landscapes
In Babolovsky Park you can ski everywhere, in Alexandrovsky – on a specially designated ski track. On the Triangular Square there is one of the most beautiful ice rinks in St. Petersburg with a view of the Catherine Palace. In winter, you can ride in a horse-drawn sleigh through the Tsarskoye Selo parks.
Walk through the famous halls of the Catherine Palace in a comfortable atmosphere.
In the low season, Tsarskoye Selo is visited by fewer guests than during the summer holidays.
To see the winter blooming of lilacs in the Alexander Palace. From the end of January 2023, blooming lilacs will once again decorate the interiors of the Alexander Palace as it was under Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra Feodorovna.
