A monument to Alexander Blok has been unveiled on Dekabristov Street
The monument is installed in the park near the house where the poet lived and worked.
Blok grew up in St. Petersburg. His work is imbued with the spirit of the Northern Capital, and Alexander's poems changed along with the public mood prevailing at that time. He felt and anticipated changes very acutely, created works that became an important part of Russian literature.
