Restaurant-fondue Cherdak Khudozhnika | "Artist's Attic"
A romantic fondue restaurant at the Art Gallery on Lomonosov Street, 1/28. The restaurant's panoramic terrace overlooks the Griboyedov Canal and the Bank Bridge. The restaurant's signature dish is classic Swiss fondue
On the fourth floor of the Art Gallery there is a fondue restaurant called “The Artist’s Attic”. The two halls of the restaurant, “Musical” and “Provence”, are a continuation of the main exhibition of the Art Gallery and are decorated with the best paintings and graphic works of famous St. Petersburg artists.
The most favorite place of the restaurant guests is the viewing terrace, which offers a view of the embankment of the Griboyedov Canal and the golden-winged griffins on the Bank Bridge. Open in the summer and decorated with many fresh flowers, closed from snow and rain in the winter, it is popular. On it is the symbol of the restaurant - the “Love and Joy” tree, which changes its “outfits” every season. In the spring it is strewn with flowers, in the summer - with apples.
The signature dish of the “Art Gallery” restaurant is the classic Swiss fondue “Neuchâtel” - prepared according to an authentic recipe using Swiss cheeses, white wine with cherry kirsch. Consul of Switzerland Michel Fayette personally trained the restaurant's chefs in the art of making and serving fondue, for which he deserves great gratitude. In addition to the classic, the restaurant will offer you signature fondue, Chinese fondue "Chinoise", chocolate and even Lenten.
The main menu "a la carte" contains several rare offers from the restaurant's chef. For example, a spicy pie with lentils caramelized in wine and honey sauce. Using the principles of Ayurvedic nutrition and products typical of Indian cuisine, the chef made a wonderful pie in the European style. We recommend trying a salad of Jerusalem artichoke, sprouted mung beans and raspberry dressing and a pudding of chia seeds and sea buckthorn confit. Jerusalem artichoke contains fiber, pectin, organic acids, fats, proteins and essential amino acids. Sprouted mung beans have the taste of milk peas, strengthen the immune system, stimulate mental activity, improve memory, and help restore vision. Maintains normal bone tissue and kidney function. Crispy flax chips are simply a storehouse of health. And the signature raspberry dressing adds a light taste. We have something to pleasantly surprise you with.
The banquet menu contains much more of these "highlights". For example: "Koreto" salad made from fresh broccoli, hot oriental pumpkin pie and much more.
The dessert menu is represented only by the chef's signature creations. The restaurant's special offer is the signature Art'n'Roll ice cream, which can be made according to the guest's recipe and made in his presence and even with his participation.
High quality food and service, beautiful dishes, cozy interior, table decoration and serving of food are the result of the restaurant team's conscientiousness, their love for guests and art in general.
