Levashovsky Bread Factory
Barochnaya ul., 4A/1
The space is located on the territory of the Levashovsky bakery, built in 1933 according to the design of the Ural engineer Georgy Marsakov.
The building, which is a monument to constructivism, was used for an automated bread baking process. The bakery was equipped with a ring conveyor system, along which the products moved from top to bottom. The initial stage of baking - dough fermentation - took place on the upper level, and on the lower floor, the finished products were loaded into machines.
The automated plant operated throughout the blockade and closed only in 2012. The building and the adjacent territory were acquired by RBI in 2017. The company restored the complex and placed a cultural center on the ground floor, and offices on the remaining floors.
