Public Space "The Third Place"
Liteiny pr., 62
A public space in a historic mansion from the mid-19th century.
The cultural center hosts lectures on art, science, and technology, open podcast recordings, special screenings, and discussions of art-house films together with leaders in independent film distribution, pop-up markets, and themed weekends.
A special place in the Third Place program is occupied by contemporary art exhibitions. Since the opening of the courtyard and mansion for free visits, the space has hosted exhibitions of works by graduates of the A. L. Stieglitz Academy, the Ekaterina Sokolovskaya Sculpture School, the Third Place Art Fair, the YABA auction, and a personal project by Chaim Sokol, organized jointly with the Anna Nova gallery.
Over the course of two summer seasons, visitors to the courtyard saw Alina Glazun's light installation "Scary", technological objects by Recycle Group, which became an addition to the New Nature exhibition at the Manezh Central Exhibition Hall, graffiti by Evgenia Voronova, the work of street artist Mikhail Ballone, as well as an ironic installation by the YOUR MUM'S KNIGHT association.
