The memorial plaque was installed on the house where Olga Fyodorovna Bergholz lived and worked from 1932 to 1943. Olga Fyodorovna had difficult times connected with this house - the siege, the death of her husband, but she was and is a popular poetess and writer who, during the years of the siege of Leningrad, remained in the besieged city, worked on the radio, supporting the city's residents' will to live and faith in victory. The sculptor of the monument is Vladimir Ivanovich Vinnichenko.
