Sculptors Sivakov and Domrachev created a monument to the "Good Dog"

Some people also call it "Gavryusha" or a "Stray Dog" monument. Soon after the sculpture was installed, a legend emerged that Gavryusha grants wishes.

The sculpture is made in the style of modernism. The material chosen for its production was forged iron. The work on the monument was carried out at a forge plant under the supervision of the artist A. G. Kuznetsov-Sergeev.

The author of the monument is the famous sculptor, honored artist Viktor Sivakov. Working as the director of the Regional Fund of Architects and Artists, he supervised projects for the improvement of streets, adjacent courtyard areas, avenues of the Petrogradskaya side of Vasilievsky Island, and part of Nevsky Prospect.
