A community of professionals and beginners who show by example that yachting is not only incredibly exciting, but also affordable, safe and not as difficult as it may seem at first sight. Here one may not only get a training but also go for a sail.
The Wind Power Yachting School, founded in 2008 has branches not only in St. Petersburg but also in Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Sochi, Gelendzhik, Yaroslavl, Vladivostok and Minsk. The school organizes sailing expeditions all over the world, as well as regattas in Russia and abroad. It also publishes its own magazine on yachting and operates its own online store offering yacht equipment. Until recently, boats were rented, and now the school is successfully forming its own fleet.
The Wind Power’s main goal is the popularization and development of sailing.
Currently the club represents a large yachting community, but a warm friendly atmosphere still exists here.
Today, everyone may find the option of classes to his own taste in the Club.
