In 1990, the "New Theatre" studio was created by the artistic director Valentina Lutz. The mission of the "New Theatre" was to educate new young viewers and introduce children to the theatrical art.
A year later, the theatre was given another name — "The Theatre at the Narva Gate". Over the years of its creative activity, the theatre has staged more than 50 performances. It has received many awards and prizes, participated in national and foreign festivals, collaborated with, Danish, Macedonian and Swedish theatres.
Today, on the stage of the Theatre at the Narva Gate, you can see both classical plays and experimental productions using artistic means: clowning, black-and-white silent films, a combination of puppet, dramatic, engineering and visual theatre. Beloved by many children's fairy tales acquire new formats in the "Theatre at the Narva Gate". The sincere acting fascinates young viewers, taking them into the wonderful world of theatre.
