The founder and permanent artistic director of the theatre "On the Neva" is Tatiana Savenkova. She opened the doors of this theatre to the public in 1987, when she returned to Leningrad after having studied in Moscow. Tatiana became the director of the theatre, she was also engaged and continues to be engaged in artistic and musical accompaniment of all productions. Each performance has its own soul, a special creative approach, humor, magnificent costumes, choreography and music.

In 2009, upon graduating Savenkova's acting course, a whole troupe of talented artists who participate in productions of Russian and foreign fairy tales came to the theatre "On the Neva".

Among 30 performances there are magic tales famous and beloved by many generations of children. The main goal of the theatre is to teach kids good feelings, compassion, helping others and to develop their spiritual wealth.
