Ivan P. Pavlov Memorial museum was opened in 1949 on the occasion of Pavlov's 100-anniversary. The Museum is located in the apartment in which this great scientist lived for the last 18 years of life? from 1918 to 1936/ The whole interior of this apartment is preserving the atmosphere not only of Pavlov's family but also the entire epoch. It represents an authentic example of the mode of life of Russian intelligentsia of that time.
