The avenue is located in the historical center of Kronstadt Island. The following socially important facilities are located on it: kindergartens, schools, the M.K. Anikushin Art School, the Kronstadt District Administration, the Kronstadt-Kurortny Military Commissariat, the post office, the Department of Internal Affairs, the Civil Registry Office. Currently, the length of Lenin Avenue in Kronstadt is about 1.5 kilometers. Among the local attractions, there is a monument of national significance - the Kronstadt Gostiny Dvor, which was built in 1832 by order of Nicholas I. As well as the Vladimir Cathedral, which is a monument of cultural significance. Along the entire street there are 98 decorative lanterns. The facades of the buildings are decorated with artistic lighting of 213 LED lamps.
Landmarks:
- The Kronstadt Gostiny Dvor, built in 1832 by personal order of Nicholas I, who visited Kronstadt in 1827 and was dissatisfied with the appearance of the shopping arcades, is recognized as a monument of Russian significance.
It burned down in the 1870s and was restored. According to the plan, it is a smaller copy of the Gostiny Dvor in St. Petersburg, located on Nevsky Prospect.
- A fountain was opened next to the Gostiny Dvor in the year of the 300th anniversary of Kronstadt.
