We invite you to take a tour of the island part of St. Petersburg‑St. Petersburg! You will stroll through picturesque places, go out to the endless waters of the Gulf of Finland and appreciate the modern architecture of the city — contrasting solutions, large-scale projects and bright sights of new Petersburg.

The tour takes you through the island part of St. Petersburg, with access to the vast waters of the Gulf of Finland.

You will see the modern city of St. Petersburg with its new architecture. We will start our tour at the Karpovka River, which is one of the favorite places for locals. Many people come here to sit on the river embankment, catch the gentle breeze from the water, and enjoy this small oasis in the midst of a densely built-up area.

After walking along Karpovka, we will reach the Malaya Nevka, on its banks there are many modern buildings, which are succinctly fit into the over all picture on the embankment. In front of you will appear Lazarevsky bridge, it will clearly draw attention to itself because of its unusual design shape, which is not only a beautiful object, but also this construction allowed to reduce the height of the bridge by 40 meters.

Next, after walking along the Malaya Neva, before you will open the boundless water surface of the Gulf of Finland, and behind remains the island part of the city.

As you walk under the unique cable-stayed bridge, you can take impressive photos that will add to your portfolio. Here, you can also see two of the city's modern landmarks: the Lakhta Center, the Gazprom Arena, and the modern public space under the 105-meter-high Flagpole, which was chosen for a specific reason. The height of the Flagpole is equal to the length of the stadium's football field, and the designers and architects have added a significant detail that not everyone is aware of.

As we pass Krestovsky Island and the Lakhta Center on our way around the Gulf of Finland, we enter the Srednyaya Nevka River and arrive at Yelagin Island, a green island surrounded by the bustling life of the metropolis.

Passing the “green island of nature” we get to the Bolshaya Nevka, we will pass by the mouth of the Chernaya River, this is the river on which the duel between Pushkin and Dantes took place, we will pass by the Botanical Garden of Peter the Great, it has been here since 1714, and to this day pleases its visitors and guests with a variety of flowers and plants.

Every corner of St. Petersburg is steeped in history, some sights are well-known and are located in the central, ceremonial part of the city, and some are hidden on remote islands. On our tour, we invite you to experience this hidden and fascinating life on the islands.
