Saint Petersburg House of Folk Art The Saint Petersburg House of Folk Art is one of the city's main venues for the preservation and development of folk art. It is a creative space for visual, musical and theatrical arts, open to all residents and guests of the cultural capital. The House of Folk Art serves as a methodological centre coordinating the work of 50 cultural and leisure centres across all districts of the city. They host around 1,300 creative groups bringing together more than 40,000 people. Over 5,000 events are held annually, attended by more than half a million visitors.

The House of Folk Art organises major city, regional and all-Russian projects, including the Silver Necklace festival and the City Dance Verandas project. We hold festivals, conferences, seminars and training programmes for cultural and leisure professionals.
